Now that we have our own, independently hosted forum we actually have sovereignty. We no longer have to walk on eggshells out of fear of getting banned.
Also there will be far fewer raids now that we have our own forum. Redditors raid other parts of reddit all the time but they seldom raid anywhere else. People link to other parts of reddit but they rarely link to independently hosted forums. Also unlike with reddit where they can use their existing account, to raid a forum they actually have to make an account and that's too much work for the average person. There will be attacks for sure but they won't be anywhere near as frequent or a large scale as what /r/incels experienced. This means we won't have to go private anymore.
The only real downside is it will cost money to host this forum though I'm not sure how much or what sergeantincel's financial situation is. I'm sure some will donate to keep this forum up if need be.

Hopefully this means will see more posts from you without having to hold back. A;so I agree in the end this was the best case scenario. We stayed alive long enough on reddit to garner attention and followers that would make this site breath with life if we were to ever be shut down. If /r/incels never existed this site wouldn't have either or at best just been dead in terms of activity.

true. i was scared at first when i saw the sub was banned 2 hours prior to my logging on, but when i saw this forum was created and had hundreds of posts i knew it would be fine.
this could very well be a catalyst towards a greater future, its better having avatars and freedom of speech. the only problem is that we might not get new members as easily as when incels was public, people could silently join and see the debates being had, and learn the black pill. now there is no more black pill on reddit.

Well on the bright side since no one really links outside of reddit (like how You mentioned) you and the other mods can spend less time banning people so it’s a Win/Win situation
